We are well under way with the covid booster programme. As with the primary doses we started with those most at risk in care homes and the elderly, now we are working down the categories. We will be inviting all eligible patients over 18 years of age to come to the surgery in the next few weeks.
If you are over 50 or under 50 with an underlying health condition and have not received an invite from us please contact the surgery to arrange an appointment. We have clinics on 20th & 29th December.
The booster vaccination should be given a minimum of 3 months (13 weeks) after the 2nd dose of the vaccine was administered. The majority of patients will be given the Pfizer vaccine irrespective of what they might have had as their primary vaccination.
