Medical Training The practice is involved in training medical students and doctors. The doctors will have been qualified for at least one year and wish to undertake a period of specialised training in General Practice. They are attached to the practice for 3 - 12 months. Dr Wallace is the practice trainer. Most of the year a medical student will also be attached to the practice under Drs Luckhurst and Stewart supervision. You may request not to see this student if you so wish. Whilst we will always respect your wishes without question please remember that all our GPs were also medical students once! As part of the training, consultations may need to be videoed for analysis. This will only be performed with your written consent and we respect your right to refuse without prejudice. We abide by strict GMC guidelines on the viewing and erasure of tapes. If you have any questions then please do not hesitate to ask. |
