IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT CHANGES TO OUR APPOINTMENTS SYSTEM
From 12th March 2012 we will be changing the way you can book your appointments with the doctors.
We will no longer offer Routine Same-Day appointments with the doctor of choice. This will free up the number of appointments that can be booked in advance with the doctor of your choice so that you can plan your routine reviews.
We will continue to offer urgent appointments on the day with a doctor

Ordering & Collecting Repeat Prescriptions
There are various ways in which you can order and pick up your repeat prescription.
Ordering your prescription:
Use the tear off slip from your previous prescription order to tick the items you need.
- At the surgery - you can drop of your request in the red box at reception.
- Online
- By telephone - you can call us after 2pm Monday to Friday to request a prescription.
- Via the pharmacy - Lloyds Pharmacy in the village, Garden City or Sainsburys are happy to accept your orders and will pass them to us (please enquire at the pharmacy about this service).
Collecting your prescription:
From the Surgery-Prescriptions are usually ready for collection from the surgery the following day after 2pm (or Monday after 2pm if ordering on a Friday). Please allow an extra 24 hours when there is a Bank Holiday.
From the Pharmacy-Lloyds pharmacy in the village, Garden City or Sainsbury’s will collect prescriptions on request and process it for you. If you send your order directly to us you need to advise us if you wish your prescription to go to one of these pharmacies. Prescriptions are usually ready for collection from the pharmacy 48 hours after ordering.
Home delivery-Lloyds Pharmacy offer this free service to housebound patients only. If you need to have your prescription delivered, please make sure that you write this on your prescription order or let the receptionist know.
Medication Review Date
It is important to remember that the doctor needs to see patients regularly to ensure that the most appropriate medication is prescribed. A medication review date appears on the repeat prescription tear off slip. If your review is overdue this may delay your prescription.
Requests for Non-repeat Prescriptions
If your prescription request is for an item that is not on your repeat prescription list, please be aware that there may be a delay if the originating doctor is not available to issue it.
