Appointments
IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT CHANGES TO OUR APPOINTMENTS SYSTEM
From 12th March 2012 we will be changing the way you can book your appointments with the doctors.
We will no longer offer Routine Same-Day appointments with the doctor of choice. This will free up the number of appointments that can be booked in advance with the doctor of your choice so that you can plan your routine reviews.

Pre-bookable
Routine Appointments
If you require a routine appointment please
call at, or telephone, reception after 10.00am (the telephone is less
busy in the afternoon). Routine appointments are scheduled for 10
minutes. If you require longer, please inform reception at the time of
booking. In keeping with current guidelines we undertake to be able to
offer you an appointment with a general practitioner within 48 hours, or
another healthcare professional within 24 hours during a normal working
week (Monday to Friday).
Same Day Appointments
We offer a limited number of same day appointments during the morning
surgery only. If you require a same day appointment you will need to
phone as soon after 8.30am on the day.
Urgent Appointments
Urgent cases are always seen on the same day,
although you may not always be able to see your usual doctor (these
appointments should not be used for routine matters). Please arrive
promptly.
Saturday Opening
Commencing from July 2008 we will be offering a limited number of
pre-bookable appointments on Saturday mornings. There will be no same
day appointments and all urgent requests to be seen should continue to
be routed through the out of hours service.
Cancelling Your Appointment
Please note: If you are unable to
attend please cancel your appointment as soon as possible so that we can
offer it to another patient.
Remember appointments can be booked up to
8 weeks in advance.
Book and Cancel Appointments Online
via Emis Access
You are now able to book and
cancel your appointment with the doctor online, using the surgery EMIS
medical system.
In order to use this service you must have previously obtained
the necessary access codes.
